I use hormonal contraceptives, which can sometimes make my periods long and heavy. Usually, I can put this in in the morning, go to work, exercise and have no leaks throughout a 12-hour span. In this time I rarely have to empty the cup out and I also use it to sleep in overnight. This cup is also soft and easy to insert once you get the hang of it. The rim is less prominent than my previous menstrual cup, making it so much more comfortable to insert. I love that I can fit the cup and forget about it for far longer than with tampons due to leakage and TSS.
OrganiCup was such a game changer. Besides the cost savings and knowing I’m producing much less waste, the cup is just incredibly comfortable. So comfortable I often forget I’m on period. Sporting is so much more comfortable and I always feel secure (yes, also when wearing white pants!).
I would recommend anybody to try and not to give up if the first attempts are a bit of a failure. It may take some time to get used to it but it is SO worth it!
If you're on the fence about buying a menstrual cup, JUST DO IT! There was a definitely a learning curve to figure out how to insert it correctly, but it was completely worth it. Don't worry if you can't figure out how to insert it right away--with time and research (I looked at video tutorials on several menstrual cup websites) you'll figure it out. Once I figured out the right fold and the right angle, the cup was a dream come true. Some of my favorite things are 1) there's NO smell 2) there are no leaks 3) you can really wear it for 12 hours so you only have to put it in when you wake up and around dinner time 4) it's planet friendly:) 5) I won't have to worry about buying another one for several years 6) it's cost effective 7) I can't even feel that I'm wearing it.
After using pads and tampons my whole life, I will never switch to anything other than the cup. Initially I was attracted to the cup because I could save money but now the cup has been a game changer on how I handle my period. I don’t have to change it half as often as a pad or tampon, which makes it so much more sanitary. I also get less period cramps when I am wearing the cup, I do believe it sits a certain way to relieve the cramps I usually get. My favorite benefit to the camps is still the amazing amount of money I have saved from not using so many pads and tampons... crazy.
I grew up in a household where tampons were for “married woman,” so my only options were pads. But since i have such sensitive skin, I would sometimes workout and get a rash bc of the friction with the plastic! After growing up and wanting to find more comfortable options for me as well as more environmentally friendly ones, I ponder upon the idea of using a cup (even though none of my friends use one).
I did my research and decided on this brand for a couple of reasons:
1) they use the extra money of the cup (compared to other cheaper brands) to being initiatives to several countries in Africa, for the knowledge and availability of menstrual products is virtually none. Hey, If i cannot go there, might as well contribute with the people that do so!
2) it’s silicone rather than plastic. Silicone is made from basically melted sand, while plastic is petroleum. I don’t want petroleum touching my body. PLUS it has no colours so no weird stuff in there on that sense either
3) the packaging is ecofriendly And amazingly well designed!
4) Customer service is just remarkable
I hope this helps someone out there trying to decide! It took me years to even do the research and really think about it. But ladies think no further. This is where is at! Promise
I only started using the cup after years of excruciatingly painful and heavy periods. Someone suggested that tampons do not help, and whilst sceptical I gave the cup a try as I had nothing to lose by trying it.
I was a convert after the first time! I don’t know why or how, but the pain and nausea I used to suffer with completely went. Still heavy, but can change the cup every 4-5 hours or so instead of 2.
It is a little fiddly to get to grips with (you have to get very up close and personal with your lady bits!), so I’d suggest practicing before you come on as it took a few tries to work out which ‘fold’ works. I’d also use a liner as well as the cup in case of any accidents.
Whilst successfully used for the first couple of periods, I had the technique perfected by about the third one and there’s absolutely no way I’ll ever return to tampons. Besides the personal benefits, the environmental and ecological positives are also definitely a factor in my choice of product. I can’t express in words what a total life changer this has been, gutted I didn’t discover years ago!
I really feel comfortable using this cup. It was the first time I use one, and I was thinking about buying one for so many months, but finally, I did. Now, I regret me for not buying it before. Try it, it is very easy to clean, very easy to clean and you are also saving money. First times you have to try to be comfortable but after several times it is like another part of your body.
If you have never used tampons or/and you are a virgin you shouldn't be afraid of the cup at all. It is the easiest, most convenient way to live your life during your period. It took me a couple periods to get used to it, I'm si happy that I don't have to run to the bathroom in my heaviest flow days, I am very active and I can go all day without having to remove it. You really feel cleaner inside and with the environment. Totally worth it!!!
It's incredibly comfortable, to the point I forget I wear it at times. It doesn't leak, which means I can move around and wear whatever I want without worrying. It saved me from skin irritations due to the pads and I love that I save money and also help the planet! Definitely recommend it to anyone.
Using a menstrual cup has totally changed how I feel about getting my period. I've only been using it for two months, so when I think of period, my mind automatically starts dreading tampons&pads and feeling dirty and uncomfortable all the time. When I remember I have my cup I instantly feel better! I can wear it and completely forget about my period in any daily activity. I'm a student and I travel to university by train every day, being far from home from morning until evening. It's extremely comfortable to know I can feel clean and safe for so many hours without worrying about getting changed. I definitely recommend OrganiCup under every point of view.
I’ve been a cup user for several years. Started out with the Diva cup and it wasn’t horrible. Tried a couple other brands and they just didn’t quite fit right so I always went back to the Diva cup. I decided it was time to look for a new cup, Diva was getting old. I took the PACII quiz and OrganiCup was one that was recommended. After doing some research I decided to go for it. They were offering a buy one, get one at the time. Really, you can’t beat that. I’ve been using the OrganiCup for three cycles now and I am in love!!! I’ve not had a single leak since using this cup and I’ve not had any discomfort or have had to reposition it or reinsert because it felt like it was coming out or hanging too low. It’s been amazing!
OrganiCup works amazingly for me. I'm a virgin but have had no problems with the cup whatsoever. I never feel the cup when I use it, and as I don't experience much pain I frequently forget I'm even on my period. I can't recommend the cup enough to anyone considering switching to an inexpensive (seen in the long run), very sustainable and healthy alternative. I will never go back to pads or tampons. Saving so much money gives me the ability to spend on other stuff, it's awesome!
After considering buying a menstrual cup for over 6 months I decided to buy the OrganiCup and also the LilyCup one (as it is geared towards first time users). Straight away I preferred the OrganiCup. I love that you can cut the stem to suit you and it is flexible enough to move with your body. I work out often and was concerned I would be able to feel it. However, once it’s in place I don’t think about it for 8 hours. It doesn’t leave that awful period smell and feels so much cleaner than other types of menstruation products. I also used to feel sore and dry after using tampons for my period which would last a couple days (TMI) but the silicone means it doesn’t mess with your pH or moisture levels. I highly recommend this cup to anyone thinking about it. And, it also has the great environment and money saving benefits!
I wanted an organicup for the environmental benefits and the cost. I was a little scared when I bought it, but it took me no time to love everything about it. It is zero waste, cheap and easy to use. I have had no problems with it and recommend it to everyone I know. Five of my friends have now converted since I started using one and they love it too. I look forward to my period now.
I’ve been interested in trying a cup for decades, yes decades...but I wasn’t sure, I didn’t want to spend the money if it might not be for me, if it might be messy, uncomfortable, fiddly, leaky... so I kept using tampons, which were sometimes messy, uncomfortable, fiddly, leaky, and full of toxins and bad for the environment... Anyway thanks to OrganiCups 2 for 1 offer and promise of money back if it doesn’t work (I’m no risk taker with my pennies) I finally ordered myself a cup, or two. I read lots of blog posts and prepared for the worst, I read all the instructions, I practised on a dry run, then I waited to try my cup. After that it was pretty non eventful. It just worked. It was easy, both to get in and out, it wasn’t messy, nothing spilt out like in some of the horror stories I’d read! It hasn’t leaked, it hasn’t got stuck. I guess the things that took the most getting used to was feeling the stem of it when you’re moving around but I’ve still not trimmed this which I know your can do for comfort. And seeing the blood...yes I know it’s not a lot, but it looks it compared to a tampon which absorbs it all, but it’s good to be more in tune with your body and a small price to pay for a healthier body and less impact to the environment.
It’s so much smaller than I thought! I was like this little thing is never gonna hold it all. But it definitely does its job. Before buying I was worried about its size but after experimenting with different folding methods (I like the E fold) it was a breeze to insert and suuuuuper comfortable. I literally forget I’m on my period. A plus is that I have super sensitive skin and with it’s hypoallergenic build, I no longer have to worry about irritation from pads and tampons. Organicup is definitely a blessing to the menstrual world.
As a complete first timer to having anything go near my girly parts, putting it in was a real struggle. It took me many tries over multiple days but I was determined to make it work. I went for the Mini size despite not being a teen but I'm so glad I did! I don't even overflow despite it's small volume. I highly suggest anyone thats worried about the size to give the Mini a shot, regardless of your age. Thankfully for OrganiCup's amazing exchange and return policy, I wasn't too worried about the size being to small but I'm so happy it all worked out. 110% recommend to anyone looking to reduce your waste/lead a more environmentally friendly lifestyle AND wanting to not even feel like you're on your period when you actually are. Love love love my cup!
I truly am SO glad I switched to a menstrual cup. I originally did it for the lower environmental impact, and it does save so many disposable period products. But it has also saved me so much money, and the 12 hour wear time is awesome! For me, it was a very easy transition- all I can say is take the time to make sure it is fitting properly and comfortable, and watch the videos on the website for how best to insert!
I know I was extremely lucky when I got the hang of the cup for the first time I used it. But even if I would have been struggling more, I’d absolutely recommend it to any one of my friends (which I’ve been doing). The cup is the best thing that’s ever happened to my period! Now I feel fresh, free and confident even though I often have a heavy bleed. Don’t miss out on this, girl! It may change your life for the better. And don’t give up if you’re struggling! You’ll get the hang of it!
Just give this a try! I read through all the reviews and they seemed really positive and so I just gave it a shot. A year later I am still loving it. The cup makes menstruating so much more ritualistic and keeps me more in sync with my flow. It’s really cool. So much better than synthetic fibers going into your body! I have nothing but absolute love for Organicup, and I brag about you guys to all my friends, and try to get them to use a menstrual cup as well!! Was the best purchase of my life!!
Wasn’t sure it would work, but was convinced the first time I tried it. Takes literally a few minutes to get used to- you don’t feel it anymore after you insert the cup. Inserting and removing the cup first time is *the* only difficult part(you have to get used to the inserting and figure out a way around the vacuum while removing- no pain at all, just mild discomfort the first time). And its so great for the environment! And the customer service is sooo nice!! Was really pleasantly surprised in all. Definitely recommend it 🙂
I cannot recommend this product enough. I can honestly say I have never felt more comfortable, relaxed, and confident in period care. I cannot feel the cup, it doesn't spill no matter the activity, and I feel so much better never needing to use the bin - no waste whatsoever!
Yes, you do need to insert it inside yourself, and yes, you will see your period blood when you empty it. If those things make you queasy - it's probably about time you started to get comfortable with your body and its' functions. Win-win!
Try it, and your life will be changed.
It took maybe two or three periods to get used to it and to understand how I should position the cup. But after that I practically forgot about all the hassle that tampons and/or pads bring - the cup doesn't leak, I can't feel it inside even if I have been wearing it for the whole day, I can do whatever - work, go on dates, do yoga, and it doesn't cause any discomfort. Also it saves my money. It's the best menstrual product I've tried.
I read a lot of reviews before going ahead with buying a cup, but I'm so glad that I bought it. It has changed how I view my periods completely - I don't dread them as much and it makes each week of the month much less impactful on my normal day to day life. It takes a bit to get used to, and it can be a bit fiddly, but the benefits outweigh the negatives twice over. Even if you're unsure, try it, because if it works for you then I don't think you'll ever go back to tampons or pads.
I doubted for months if I should try it. Then a friend tried the cup herself and I finally joined the club. Now I feel I wish I'd done it years ago! Honestly, there's no pain or discomfort when using it. I felt a lot more discomfort with tampons and had actually stopped using any. Plus all the nasties you're putting right into your flesh! Now, I get to fly through my periods as if they weren't even there. And I love the huge amount of non-recyclable plastic I'm no longer throwing into the environment. The cup it's just better for your body and the world, and in a weird way, it makes you connect with your body a lot more. We're always taught that our period is disgusting. Now, I'm free from those thoughts. I truly feel that I'm more aware and connected with my body, and not harming it every month with chemicals! If in doubt, TRY IT and give it a couple of periods. You won't go back. If it hurts, reapply and watch the videos and talk to friends. It's until you 'get it', then it becomes second nature!
The first few tries of wearing the cup was absolutely frustrating as i didn't know that i had an inverted uterus. So it kept leaking, it was uncomfortable, eventually i stopped trying. When i found about my uterus, i researched and realized that you'd need to wear the cup in a different angle and not as deep in as other's would. It worked like a dream after that! I still do wear a thin day pad or a panty liner just to be safe but it is such an ease of mind to go on my day without worrying about leaks as my first two days can get really heavy. My pad usage reduced three-fold too!
I love the flexibility of this cup, while it’s still stiff enough to go in easy and the “stem” is thin enough that I can’t feel it at all! Unlike others that I’ve tried, the OrganiCup doesn’t slide around while in use. I love that this is healthier for my body, better for the planet (OrganiCup doesn’t even use plastic packaging!) and it is so much more convenient. I no longer need to bring along a week’s supply of tampons for a vacation (plus pads because of leakage) I just need the cup (which never leaks!) and I don’t need to bring along a day’s worth of tampons on a hike or worry about carrying around the applicator after I’ve inserted it on the top of a mountain. Better yet, I can keep it in all day without worrying about changing it out in the wild! The only thing I would love to see change is for a variety of colours because clear stains quite quickly and severely. But that’s just a minor detail that doesn’t affect my experience at all!
I was very hesitant to switch over to using a menstrual cup, but after doing a ton of research, I decided to give it a try. As someone who was NEVER able to wear tampons, I was very weary of using a cup. I was so surprised how easily I was able to get the cup in! The only thing I had to adjust was the length of the stem until I couldn't feel it anymore. Now I use the cup EVERY period and I LOVE it! I always recommend this brand over the others. The cup is simple, which is all you need. AND get the wash! It's extremely helpful.
The cup significantly improved my everyday life during my period: no more anxiety about forgetting tampons or wearing tight jeans, less pain, more confort during sport and other activities. It took me a couple of periods to get really used to it, but it's easy to insert and remove, easy to wash and can't feel it at all while in. I share the bathroom with my flatmate and no issue ever occurred. Also, I have no need to change it more than once every 12 hours, so it never happened to me to do it in public toilets.
FInally, it really improved my knowledge of my body and how it works!
I wish woman all around the world know about the OrganiCup because this makes everything so much easier, cleaner and more comfortable! Plus less waste and no toxic stuff in your body. It takes a few periods to get used to it, especially the inserting is weird in the beginning, but practice makes perfect. Taking it out can be a bit painful in the beginning as well but after a few periods you know how to take it slowly and painlessly out. Even if there is no sink close by or you don't want to go out of you toilet stall, you can just empty it in the toilet and put it back in. It is nice to rinse it so there doesn't stay any blood in for long but the fluids don't stick to the cup much which also makes it very easy to clean!
Another benefit is that you never have to walk around with loads of tampons or other stuff, because you carry it within you! Cleaning it at the end of your period is also very easy, rinse it and boil it for a few minutes and it is like new again!
I also had less stomach pains than when using tampons, but that might be the placebo effect, but it helps anyway :).
So definitely a recommendation, small investment with a huge positive effect!
At first I wanted to try the cup because of the environmental benefits (and price benefit of course). I read some reviews (almost all positive) but I thought most of them were just overreacting about the convenience. It seemed too good to be true. And at first it was. The first few months I spent 15 minutes in the bathroom trying to get it in a correct position. I didn't feel very comfortable then. But I kept trying and after about 4 months I got the hang of it. Now I feel comfortable, cleaner and I know my body better. Moreover I can go swimming and do sports without having to worry about leakages! Sounds too good to be true, isn't it?
I was curious for a while about trying the Organicup but always a little skeptical.
Was an avid tampon user but they had started to disagree with my body and the inconvenience of always having them on me and changing every couple of hours was a pain.
Wasn’t sure what to expect with the cup but I literally would never go back now!
First period was a little difficult and took a little getting used to. I found trimming the excess on the base of the cup made it 100% more comfortable for my body.
Worried about spillages, leaks but it has never happened and I have a very physical job so I’m moving around all the time but never worry even when I’m having a heavy period.
I’m a regular swimmer and feel completely confident wearing the cup. Have also been on a sun holiday with the cup and it was great to just leave in the morning and forget about it for the day.
I actually feel cleaner and fresher than I ever did with tampons.
Obviously the savings are great too and my body feels natural again which was very important to me.
Would highly recommend the Organicup to anyone who’s even a little curious. Honestly you won’t regret the change!
Honestly I was hesitant before ordering, it seemed uncomfortable and couldn't imagine the cup would actually be able to contain my blood for a day so therefore thinking about changing in a public bathroom stopped me from ordering sooner.
But it is amazing! Normally I always had to pay attention during the day to change every 3-4 hours, sometimes I could feel the tampon, it was unhygienic to change etc. With the cup I don't need to change the entire day until night and I don't feel it sitting there (yes sometimes I even forgot it was there and it could hold up 24 hours). Next to this convenience of not feeling anything and no need to change until you shower, it is also healthy for your body. I have PMS and ever since I started using the cup the cramps have significantly decreased. I am not sure if this is related, but I am not the only one who has experienced this.
Another advantage, you save a lot of money. Last but not least it is way better for the environment, you reduce so much waste!!
It took me 2 to 3 periods to get smooth in inserting the cup, ever since I am so so happy to have decided using this. Highly recommended!!
It was a bit scary to see the cup at first, but after 2 periods and helpful lube, I got so use to using it that it is so easy now. After my 2nd period with it I started to notice little things that have made me realize how beneficial the period cup actually is - my cramps eased and my period has got shorter. Also I don't get any more leftover cotton bits from tampons inside my vagina suddenly appearing days after my period ends. Knowing that it's good for my body, environment and saving money should be a good good enough reason to give it a try 😊
Always wanted to make the change from pads to a menstrual cup, but was hesitant. Was worried it would be difficult to place in and take out, but it actually wasn´t that hard at all! One just needs to keep calm and take one´s time and everything runs smoothly. Love my organicup so much now, and I´m only on my second month!! Very practical that I only have to change it two or three times a day!! This was the first menstrual cup I tried, and I´m very satisfied. No leaks so far!! Never going back to pads!!
The change is soooooo worth doing, good for your body and, most importantly, for the envirnment! 🙂
I would strongly advise anyone to try out OrganiCup. Not only does it save money, but it’s also good for you and the environment. It is made reusable after all. Remember, if it’s not for you, you can always get a refund. The most important thing is to feel comfortable when using it.
I’ve been using it for a good 6 months and it is honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made. It makes my daily life so much easier, since I don’t have to worry about changing my pad every 2 - 3 hours depending on my flow. Also, it puts you in a great mindset, since you are helping the environment and feel good about it. Many of my friends and relatives think that I’m cool for using OrganiCup. They think it hurts and is uncomfortable. This is a common misconception. However, yea, it may be a bit irritable the first few time, but once you get the hang of it, it’ll be no problem at all. Trust me!
I hope that I will be guiding other contemplating 16-year-olds on the right path. I have some advice for you: don’t be scared or feel embarrassed to try it out! It may be embarrassing since everyone else around you is using tampons, pads or panty liners, but don’t let this get to you! This way you’ll be proving to yourself that you are a part of something bigger - helping the environment and trying out new things.
One last thing. When you receive or even look at the cup, you might think: “There’s no way I will be able to put this in. “ Like mentioned, all you need is practice and before you know it, you’ll get the hang of it. Remember, make sure to insert the cup in the position you’re most comfortable in!
I strongly recommend this to everyone. It’ll really have a huge positive impact on your daily life!😊
I was skeptical about using a period cup, but a friend recommended it. I was moving to a place where everything is expensive, so I figured it would be a good way to save some money. I’ve been using it for about 6 months and I love the period cup. It’s easy to use, saves me money, and there’s less trash in my garbage. If you’re on the fence I strongly recommend a period cup, especially organicup. They provide helpful tools and a video so you don’t have to worry about figuring out the cup on your own. I strongly recommend this to everyone, and have already convinced two close friends to try the organicup (& they love it).
I can't thank enough this amazing brand for completely changing my experience. I always felt very uncomfortable when I had the period, until I tried the cup. It is so great to not feel it at all and not having to worry about anything, specially while doing sports or working for long hours. The videos on the website and the tips are very useful when trying it for the first time. Also my doctor recommended it, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
I've never been so excited to buy something for my period and for a long time it seemed too good to be true, but it's amazing. I can't sing their praises enough. The customer service was amazing and the brand is very appealing to me. As for the product itself, it's so much more practical, cheaper than tampons, and less messy to maintain. As well as better for the environment. I wish these were more popular already, they're life-savers!
I've been using Organicup for the past 7 months and I can't be happier with it. Personally, it has been a life-changing. I use the ring for as contraceptives and sometimes I have unusual discharges which before I would have had to use a panty liner every time that happened.. now I just insert the cup for even 24h (and I remove it for hygiene and not because is full) and that's it, I don't have to be wasting money buying panty liners or tampons or anything. A huge for my pocket and the environment!
As I don't have pains when my period arrives (or during), sometimes (many) I forget I have the cup in, hence, I completely forget I have my period.. which I believe is the best thing of this invention.
When I first used it I found it a bit complicate it to insert it or find the right way for it to open. I tried it many ways and the best one was to try to insert it while I was taking a shower, this way I wouldn't be scared if I stained myself with blood.. and it worked! afterwards, it was just a matter of trying the most comfortable position for me.
As I found this, again, the best invention for a woman ever existed before, I bought 7 of them to give to my cousins, they all loved them! As they loved them, they told their friends and now we are 15+ of us in total using it (and still counting).
I can't say much more.. I think I've never been happier with a purchase before.
I'm a contemporary dancer and an oriental dancer and organicup passed the test after all the classes and rehearsals doing twists, turns and floor work with zero leaks and a heavy flow. I was nervous to try it but I'm never going back. It was treaky inserting it the first times, but now it's so easy and effective. Environment friendly, zero worries and cost effective! It changed my life, love it!!
I was worried about switching from tampons to the cup, but when I discovered how bad tampons are for the environment I knew I had to try! The first period was difficult as I was getting used to using it, I kept a pad on in case of any leaks. By my third period I was totally converted and I don’t even think about it now!
The fact that I don’t need to change my tampon every few hours is amazing! Now I can go to work and not even think about my period until I get back home!! Life changer!!
It might be for you, it might not! But totally worth trying that’s for sure.
Using the OrganiCup is way more convenient than using pads or tampons!
I love that I can do anything without feeling anxious for leaking through.
What also is a lovely thing, is that I contribute in making the environment a better place by reducing less waste!
By the way, it saves a lot of money! I do not need to buy loads of tampons when having my period.
Just the best thing ever!
I'm so happy with the Organicup! I got another brand of cup years ago and I just couldn't get the hang of it. I'm SO glad I stumbled across organicup because I love everything about it - the minimal packaging, the flexible silicone, the little pull tab! This is my second cycle using it and it's been surprisingly easy. I have some trouble getting it to open up after inserting (i use a c-fold) but if I follow the instructions from the youtube video (run fingers along bottom edge, turn it slightly, push it in a little further) it usually does the trick! I feel like another cycle and I'll be an expert. It lasts me about 8 hours when I have a heavy flow and the full 12 hours the other days. I'm a convert now and so happy about it! I practically look forward to getting my period because it makes it so much easier. 🙂
At first, I didn't expect it would be such a big difference. I just had to try something because everything else out there was sooo outdated and polluting. But! right after my first experience, which was odd because this was so new to me, I fell in love with it. And every time when we're on our periods, me and my friends, every time we must mention it and how it changed our lives, because it really did! It is so comfortable, clean and reusable! Now I cannot even think about my previous options...
I wish I would have had the cup years ago! It's so much better than tampons or pads. I would sometimes have irritation with tampons, but none at all with the cup. I travel often and spend lots of time outdoors. I can insert the cup in the morning that I think my period will start. Then it's there and I don't have to worry about it later when I'm busy. I've hiked, swam, exercised, slept, and traveled with the cup and it's made life so much easier. It might take a few cycles to get the hang of it. Try different folding techniques if you have trouble with it opening once inserted. I found I needed to trim the stem a bit, but now all is good. Once you get the hang of it, you really don't even know it's there. Seriously, do your body a favor and try it. What do you have to lose?
Ok, that might seem exaggerated, and in a way it is; no woman on earth enjoys that time of the month. But the cup has really been the best choice for my period. No more disgusting pads or tampons that you don't really want to leave in your friends' and family's bins (so awkward!) No more guilt over the tons of plastic,. On lighter days I only change it in the morning and in the evening, and it's so comfortable I really forget it's there sometimes. Jumpjng into a swimsuit like it's nobody's business, because let's face it, tampons don't work in the sea! And if things get heated with a partner well, let's just leave it at it being less of a Carrie moment. So when I disinfect my cup and put it back in it's little bag at the end of the month, I kind of do look forward to using it again in a weird way, because it's given me my freedom back during menstruations.
This is the best purchase of my life! It is ecological, makes you save a ton of money, but most importantly it is super comfortable! I suffered a lot with normal pads and tampons, because those were unpractical, uncomfortable and released bad odors, but with organicup all this problems are solved. It takes a few months to get the heng of it, but after une year and a half I can now tell you that it's super easy.
For those who said it is uncomfortable and they can feel it constantly, I suggest to be patient and give it a try for a bit longer, because if you feel it you probably just put it wrong. Once you practice and get it right it is literally impossible even to tell if you are wearing it or not!
I had been thinking about using a cup for a while. After doing some research online, I decided to go for an OrganiCup. Partly because of the eco-friendly focus, partly because I did a test to find a good fit and this one came up.
So far, I have used the cup in two periods. I followed all the instructions, even trying it out a few times before my period. It only took me two or three tries to find the easiest way to get it in, and to my surprise I actually don't feel it at all. I've heard that said before about many things, but this time it was true!
I've only experienced one minor leak during the first period I tried the cup, after that it's been smooth sailing ever since. I love it, and will never use pads, tampons or anything else ever again!
OrganiCup er tilgjengelig i to størrelser. Størrelse A anbefales for kvinner som ikke har gjennomført vaginal fødsel. Størrelse B anbefales for kvinner som har født vaginalt. Sjekk ut størrelsesguiden vår for menstruasjonskopper. Les vår størrelsesguide her (EN).
